Smart Money Flow
Smart Money Flow is a live, conviction-weighted tape of what a curated cohort of proven traders is doing right now. Instead of watching every fill on the exchange, you watch a filtered stream — the notable trades as they happen, weighted so a big, decisive move from a high-quality wallet stands out from the noise. Beside the tape runs a signal rail that reads where the crowd is leaning, and every coin in the flow opens straight into the terminal so you can act on what you just read.
The cohort
The tape is scoped to a set of traders worth following, not the whole exchange. You pick between the Alpha50 — the tightest set of elite wallets — and the broader Top-100 ranked field. The Alpha50 gives you a sharp, high-conviction read from a small group; the Top-100 trades breadth for a wider view across the ranked traders. Each trade in the stream is weighted by conviction, so size and quality rise to the top instead of drowning in retail flow, and accumulation or distribution shows up here as it forms rather than after price has already moved.
Reading the tape and the signals
The tape streams notable trades as they land, each row carrying the coin, the direction, and how much weight the move holds. Running alongside it, the signal rail turns that stream into two readings: net flow, which shows the cohort’s directional lean, and unusual volume, which flags coins trading far above their normal activity. Read together, net flow answers which way the cohort is leaning and unusual volume answers where attention is spiking.
Every reading is computed over a window you choose — the last 6h, 24h, or 1 week. A short window catches fresh momentum and turns earlier; a longer one shows sustained positioning and smooths out spikes. Cross-checking a signal across two windows is the quickest way to tell a fleeting move apart from a genuine shift.
The long/short pulse
A pulse bar sits above the flow as a single, honest reading of where conviction sits. It weighs the flow rather than counting it — not just how many trades are long versus short, but how much conviction each one carries — so a handful of large, decisive positions can move it more than a crowd of small ones. Watching it shift across windows tells a momentary spike apart from a real change in positioning.
Focusing the flow
The feed narrows to whatever you actually trade. You can filter the tape by signal strength so only the higher-conviction trades remain and weaker signals drop away, focus a single coin to study one market’s flow in isolation, or narrow the stream to your own watchlist so it only surfaces the markets you follow.
| Control | What it does |
|---|---|
| Cohort | Switches between the Alpha50 elites and the broader Top-100 ranked field. |
| Window | Computes the tape and signals over 6h, 24h, or 1 week. |
| Signal strength | Keeps only the higher-conviction trades, dropping weaker signals. |
| Coin focus | Narrows everything to a single market to study one coin’s flow. |
| Watchlist | Limits the feed to your starred markets — see Pairs & Markets. |
Acting on it
The flow lives next to execution, not on a separate page. Tapping any coin opens it in the Trading Terminal, where you place the trade from the same self-custodial wallet — read the flow, then act on it with nothing held in between. The same intelligence also surfaces in the terminal’s dock, so you can keep an eye on positioning without leaving your chart.
On mobile
The full experience fits one thumb-reachable screen. A tape / signals toggle swaps between the live trade stream and the signal rail, so you get the whole picture without pinching or scrolling sideways.
Good to know
Smart Money Flow is a read on positioning, not a guarantee — it tells you where proven wallets are leaning, and you decide what to do with it. Longer windows smooth out noise while shorter ones catch turns earlier, so it pays to confirm a signal across two before you lean on it.
