Referrals & the Battle Pass
Refer a trader to whale.ag and you earn a share of the trading fees they generate, for as long as they trade. The program isn’t flat, though: it works like a battle pass, where your own trading unlocks the codes you can hand out and lifts the rate you keep on everyone you bring in.
How it works
Your referral codes stay locked until your own all-time trading volume unlocks them, and each tier you reach pays a higher commission than the last. So the same volume you were already trading does double duty — it opens more codes to share and grows the slice of every referred trader’s fees you keep. Bronze starts at 20%; Master pays 35%. Volume is cumulative, so progress only ever moves forward, and a higher rate applies to your referral activity from the moment you reach the tier.
Reaching a tier gives you code slots for it. Generate a code to claim a slot, and each code becomes a /?ref= link you can send to anyone — when they sign up and trade through it, they’re attributed to you and your tier’s share of their fees flows to you automatically. Every code carries a fixed number of uses set by its tier, from Bronze’s one up to Master’s six; once a code’s uses are consumed it is spent, greys out on your card, and can’t be reused. Higher tiers give you both more codes and more uses per code, so your reach compounds as you climb.
Tiers
The rate below is the referrer’s share, and both it and the number of codes you can hand out climb with your all-time trading volume. The remainder of each fee goes to the structure above you — the community or partner network your invite sits under, if any — and that split is handled for you.

Claiming your earnings
Earnings from all your referrals pool into a single balance and are claimed straight to your own wallet. Nothing is held on your behalf: like everything on whale.ag, rewards accrue to you and are claimed on-chain, subject to standard network conditions.
Order links carry your referral
Any order you build in the Trading Terminal can be shared as a pre-filled link that reconstructs the exact ticket — side, type, leverage, and levels — and those links carry your referral automatically. A trade call you post therefore doubles as an invite: if someone new opens your shared order and starts trading, they’re attributed to you.
