Points & Tiers
Every season, your activity on whale.ag earns points, and those points place you in a tier that makes trading cheaper and every future point worth more. It is a loyalty system that pays out in the two currencies a trader actually cares about: lower fees and faster progress.
How points work
Points accrue from what you do on the terminal — led by trading volume, with other activity across the app adding to the total. There is nothing to opt into and no separate action to claim: you trade as yourself, and your season total climbs automatically. Points are counted within a season, a fixed window that resets when it ends and a new one begins.
Your points total is what determines your tier. As the total grows you move up through the tiers, and each tier carries two standing perks: a trading fee discount and a points multiplier. The discount lowers what you pay on every trade, stacking on top of whale.ag’s already-lean fee structure — see the FAQ for how trading fees work. The multiplier raises the rate at which you earn, so the same volume returns more points at a higher tier than a lower one.
The two perks compound. Trading earns points, points lift your tier, a higher tier both cheapens your next trade and speeds up your next points — the more you use whale.ag, the cheaper and more rewarding it gets.
Reading the header
Your standing lives in the points pill in the top bar, so it is always one glance away rather than buried on a separate page. It shows your season points total, the tier those points put you in, your progress toward the next tier, the earning multiplier your current tier grants, and a countdown marking how much time is left in the season.
Good to know
Points reward genuine activity, so consistent trading is the surest way to climb — there are no gimmicks to game. They are also distinct from referrals: points are about your own trading, while the people you bring in earn through a separate system covered in Referrals & Battle Pass.
