Managing Your Agents
A copy-trading agent is capital you funded on purpose to mirror a trader you chose, and it stays yours the whole time it runs. whale.ag gives you a full cockpit for that capital — a live view of how it’s doing, the controls to tune it, and the money actions to add to it, bank from it, or bring it all home. Nothing is locked, and nothing is held: whale.ag never takes custody, so every move that touches money is signed by you and settles into your own Hyperliquid account.
The agents dashboard
The dashboard is the fleet view — every agent you’ve deployed, read at a glance before you drill into any one. Across the top it totals how many agents you’ve deployed, your all-time PnL combined across all of them, and how many are currently active. Below that, each agent lists its live net equity, updated as the market moves, so winners and laggards sit side by side without opening anything. Search and filter to find a specific agent, and browse the history of the ones you’ve already closed.
The agent detail view
Opening an agent gives you the full picture in one page. It shows net equity against the initial you funded — what the position is worth now versus what you put in — alongside its PnL since deployment and a live equity curve tracing how that value has moved. Live positions show exactly what the agent is holding right now with unrealized PnL, and a link to the trader it mirrors takes you straight to that trader’s profile (see Trader Discovery). Every trade the agent has made as it copies is listed under its executions, so the copying is legible rather than a black box.
The same page is where you shape behavior. The agent’s config is editable while it runs — allocation, sizing, stop-loss, the coin allowlist, and more — and those edits are prospective: they steer the trades it makes from here on, never the ones already placed. Alongside the config sit the run controls to pause the agent, resume it, or stop it outright.
Moving capital
Three actions move money in and out of a running agent. Each one is signed by you and settles to your own account, so whale.ag can’t move a cent on its own and your capital always returns to you.
Top-Up adds capital to an agent that’s already running. Fund it from your Hyperliquid balance, sign once, and the agent begins sizing its mirrored trades against the larger balance — a way to scale a strategy that’s working without redeploying it.
Take-Profit pulls a percentage of an agent’s equity while it keeps running. You choose the share, preview exactly what comes out, and sign once; the agent trims its positions to free that amount, moves it to spot, and sends it back to you, then rebalances and keeps mirroring the trader with the capital that remains. It’s how you bank gains without giving up the position.
End & Withdraw winds the agent down completely and returns everything. In one flow it stops copying, closes the open positions, moves the balance to spot, and withdraws the funds back to you — then verifies the agent is empty before it finishes, so nothing is left behind. It takes a single signature and is resumable: if a closed tab or a dropped connection interrupts it, you pick it up where it left off without any risk of double-sending. When it’s done, the agent is empty and your capital is back in your wallet.
Good to know
Take-Profit keeps the agent alive while End & Withdraw shuts it down — reach for Take-Profit when you want to realize gains and keep copying. Because your wallet is the account, there’s no intermediary balance to clear and nobody else who can withdraw; funds settle to your Hyperliquid account, and from there you can move them on-chain. See Withdrawals.
